Mae hi’n profiad arbennig i cerdded 12 klm. o pentref Fira i pentref Oia yn Santorini. Mae’r golygfa yn anarferol. Cerdded ydy pwysica i pob man. Dwi i’n meddwl fy mod i’n iawn does na ddim golygfa na machlud haul mwy dramatic pob man. Mae’r llosgfynydd mewn nunlle yn y caldera yn weithredol. Mae yna ddiffygion enfawr yn amlwg ond nid oes rhaid i chi boeni oherwydd bod y llwybr yn fawr a diogel. Ar gyfer y bobl anturus mae yna graig Skaros i ddringo. Mae graig Skaros yn cynnig rhai o’r golygfeydd arbennig. Mae yn wirioneddol hyfryd ar ôl Firostefani ar y ffordd i Oia. Maen nhw’n dweud bod y machlud mwyaf rhamantus yn y byd yng Nghastell Oia, Santorini.
2. Cerdded o pentref Pyrgos i dref hen yn Thira a pentref Perissa
Mae hi’n profiad arbennig i cerdded 7,45 klm. o pentref Pyrgos i pentref Perissa yn Santorini. Mae Pirgos gen ti waliau byzantin ac adfeilion Castell Fenisaidd. Mae’r golygfa yn anarferol. Dechrau o pentref anghygoel Pyrgos i fynd i funny Proghet Ilias monastery efo golygfa uchel yn Santorini. Os dych chi eisiau darganfod dref hen Thira mae na lot mwy o cerdded. Dwi i’n meddwl fy mod i’n iawn does na ddim golygfa mwy ddiddorol i pob man yng nhwlad groeg. Mae yna ddiffygion enfawr yn amlwg ond nid oes rhaid i chi boeni oherwydd bod y llwybr yn fawr a diogel. Mae dref hen yn cynnig rhai o’r golygfeydd arbennig. Mae yn wirioneddol hyfryd ar ôl Pyrgos ar y ffordd i Perissa neu Kamari. Rhaid i chi cerdded pedair hour i fynd o Pyrgos i Perissa a un hour mwy i mewn hen dref. Elevation gain ydy 445 m. A elevation loss ydy 754 m.
- From Fira to Oia clifftop walk
This undulating 12 klm moderate Santorini walk gives the fabulous views of the lagoon, cliffs and also the various streets and alleyways in Thira and Oia. This is the best walk in Santorini as you can see just why Santorini is so renowned for its scenery, cliffs and so on. The santorini hiking path gives you gorgeous view to the famous volcano and the Aegean sea. There are obviously massive drops but you don’t have to worry because the path is wide and secure. For the adventurous people there is Skaros rock where you could climb. Skaros rock offers some of the finest views. There are some truly gorgeous spots after Firostefani on the way to Oia. They say that the most romantic sunset in the world is at the Oia Castle
2. From Pyrgos to the ancient city of Fira and then onwards to Perissa pentref.
From the incredible village of Pyrgos you could ascend the Proghet Ilias monastery, the highest point in Santorini. You head over the hills and eventually back down to the saddle of the ancient city of Thira. Ancient Thira dates back to 9th century B.C. It is build on an incredibly well-defended rock. The ruins of agora, theatre, portico etc are trully incredible. Afterwards you are presented with a choice of descenting either in Kamari or Perissa. There is a lot o vertigo in Santorini. Some paths are exposed, although none is dangerous if you stick to the path. At Panagia church just before you reach the village of Perissa the drop is nearly straight. Pirgos has some byzantine walls and the ruins of a Venetian Castle.
